Lost in Translation
One of my favorite movies of all time is Lost in Translation, a whimsical film that follows two unlikely companions -- an aging movie star and an introspective young woman -- after a chance meeting at a hotel bar. As they begin to navigate Tokyo and all the vibrant energy that the city has to offer, they delve into what it means to find escape and meaning in a place so foreign yet familiar.
I chose to create a very simple movie poster in hopes of letting the ethereal quality of the cinematic stills speak for themselves.
